Wednesday Night Adult Classes
Christian Imagination - Begins at 6:45
How do religion and popular culture interact? This class will ask how this happens around us daily. Let’s read short stories, poetry, and comic books; watch films and television shows; play board games; scroll through Instagram and blogs; and discuss theories about popular culture and religion. We examine what religion enables people to do or say in creative work, and think critically about the role religion plays in what we consume for entertainment. Let’s investigate together and see how people find religious meaning and identity in unexpected places. Come join them in Room 212.
